Movies at Foothills | The Ballad of Wallace Island (2025)

Foothills’ film series returns on Saturday, September 20 at 3 PM in the Learning Center. This month’s feature:

The Ballad of Wallis Island (2025), a poignant British comedy, follows Charles (Tim Key), an eccentric lottery winner who lives alone on a remote island in Wales and dreams of getting his favorite folk rock duo Mortimer-McGwyer (played by Carey Mulligan and Tom Basden) back together. A hit at this year’s Sundance and SXSW film festivals.
Running time: 1 hr. 40 min.
